Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Mark?

This is in many ways a personal question as to your own interpretation. A practical answer would be it is the sigil or talisman that the Magician uses to seal his work. A more symbolic answer may be it is the manifestation of the divine by the actions of the Magician. It is also, of course, an embodiment of the True Will of the Magician.

Must I be a member of O.T.O. to join the Order of Mark Magicians?

We cannot strictly enforce your membership in O.T.O., though as a ceremonial extension of an O.T.O. degree it is fundamental for any teaching to occur.

How do I get a sponsorship?

To acquire sponsorship, please reach out to our secretary via the contact page. We will organise an interview where two Mark Magicians can discuss with you.

What do you do as an Order?

As an order we have a two-step path of initiation, beyond that is only one administrative grade used for those who take office as Hiram. Further, we have a weekly study meeting in which there is a core ritual used to create an environment better fit for divine intuition.

Are there dues to be paid?

Currently, those who are Mark Magicians have no dues to pay. The Order is funded by those in the Hiram office by means of generosity and a desire to see the Order grow without financial obligations to any seekers.

Can I talk to my O.T.O. brothers and sisters about the Order?

We are not in any way recognised by O.T.O. and therefore cannot advise. As Mark Magicians, we take a vow of secrecy to the identity of our members.
Love is the law, love under will.
